Mrs. Shaffer’s Honors Geometry students put their phone’s built-in measurement apps to the test! Using similar triangle ratios, they compared student heights to their shadows to see just how accurate these apps really are. 📊🔍
Through hands-on learning, they applied geometric principles to verify (or challenge!) technological estimates—and discovered that some measurement apps are much more reliable than others! 🤯📐

Grady Electric Membership Corporation has selected three outstanding juniors for the prestigious 2025 Washington Youth Tour, an incredible leadership program that offers students a once-in-a-lifetime experience in our nation’s capital.
🌟 Congratulations to our very own Emma Gebel! 🌟
Emma will travel to Washington, D.C., from June 13-20, where she’ll explore historic landmarks, meet with elected officials, and participate in leadership activities designed to inspire the next generation of leaders.
