Last week, our first grade students had the privilege of welcoming Sarah from the Black History Museum for a meaningful Black History Month presentation.
Through engaging storytelling and discussion, students learned about influential African American leaders, pivotal moments in history, and the lasting impact of those who helped shape our world. Our young learners were curious, attentive, and excited to deepen their understanding.
Experiences like this help students connect to the past, appreciate diverse contributions, and grow as thoughtful, informed citizens.
We are grateful for community partners who invest their time and passion into enriching the educational experience of our students.
Thank you, Sarah, for making history both meaningful and memorable.

MacIntyre Park Middle School students recently had the opportunity to hear from one of our very own — Coach Chris Guyton, MPMS social studies teacher — during Mrs. D. Jones’s Career class.
Coach Guyton shared his personal journey of earning both athletic and academic full-ride scholarships to the University of Kentucky, speaking candidly about the discipline, dedication, and balance required to succeed as a college student-athlete. He emphasized that excellence in the classroom is just as important as performance on the field.
This meaningful conversation connected directly to the class’s Selecting a College Unit, giving students real-world insight into what it truly takes to compete and achieve at the next level.
We are grateful for Coach Guyton’s time, leadership, and the powerful example he sets for our students.

A heartfelt thank you to the Thomasville Antiques Show Foundation for providing the grant that made this opportunity possible for every student. Your support helps create lasting memories and powerful learning experiences for our Eagles.

Last night was a tremendous success at our Bulldog Game Plan event! Families of rising 10th–12th graders joined us to map out their path to graduation — reviewing requirements, exploring CTAE pathways, learning about dual enrollment opportunities, and diving into Advanced Placement options.
At Thomasville High School, we are committed to creating an individualized academic plan for every student — one that reflects their interests, challenges them to grow, and turns future goals into actionable steps. Making sure each student has a clear plan is an important part of our Bulldog +1 initiative, preparing them to be enrolled, enlisted, or employed after graduation.
Thank you to the families who attended and to the staff who helped make the evening such a meaningful and productive event. The future is bright for our Bulldogs! ✨🐾
