We’re proud to share that Thomasville High School’s Caroline Sanders has been selected as one of only 79 students statewide to serve on the 2025–2026 Georgia Department of Education Student Advisory Council! 🌟
Chosen from 1,235 applicants, Caroline will work directly with State School Superintendent Richard Woods to provide feedback on how state policies impact Georgia classrooms. Throughout the year, she’ll join students from across the state for discussions, leadership opportunities, and a community service project that promotes student voice and civic engagement. ❤️💛

Up to 200 students will receive FREE vision screenings and, if needed, FREE glasses. The Vision Van will be parked at Harper School, and transportation will be provided for students who need it.
