💡🏭 Big News for Bulldog Innovation! 🏭💡 Thomasville City Schools has been awarded an $87,000 grant through the Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (AIM) program to launch a cutting-edge Smart Manufacturing curriculum in partnership with Georgia Tech! 🎉 This innovative program, developed and led by Georgia Tech staff, will introduce students to AI-driven technology, automation, and advanced manufacturing, preparing them for high-demand careers in today’s rapidly evolving workforce. ⚙️🤖 A huge thank you to Steven Ferguson, Dr. Kyle Saleeby, and Dr. Sean Mulvanity of Georgia Tech for their leadership in curriculum development and instruction. 📣 Shout out Saturday| Growing Our Own Future Educators! 🍎🎓 Yesterday morning, we proudly celebrated a major milestone as Ni'shyah Duncan and Cristopher Hale signed on as the first participants in a zero-cost Paraprofessional-to-Teacher Track through a new partnership between Thomasville City Schools and Thomas University! 🙌 Through this innovative program, they’ll take up to 15 credit hours per semester while earning their teaching degrees—tuition-free. After credentialing and interviews, they'll join TCS as paraprofessionals and, upon graduation, become certified teachers with 4 years of TRS credit already earned!
