While each of our schools recently celebrated School Resource Officer Appreciation, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible SROs who serve our Bulldog family every day.
Dr. Sweeting and district leadership had the opportunity to visit each campus this week to personally thank our SROs and present a small token of appreciation for their dedication and service.
We are proud to recognize:
• 6–12 Campus (THS / MPMS / Scholars) – Officer Spivey, Officer Ramsey, and Sergeant Thomas

Our SROs do so much more than ensure safety—they build relationships, mentor students, and are a trusted presence in our schools each day.

Our elementary schools recently wrapped up an exciting few days of Field Day fun at Harper, Jerger, and Scott Elementary!
From friendly competitions and team challenges to lots of laughter and school spirit, our students had a blast celebrating the end of the season together.
Events like Field Day are a great reminder that learning, teamwork, and fun go hand in hand—and we loved seeing our students active, engaged, and making memories.

Students in Mr. Bryant’s American Government class recently had the opportunity to hear from Thomas County Republican Party Chairwoman Laura Reid about the importance of civic responsibility and engagement.
Through this experience, students gained valuable insight into the role of local political involvement, the responsibilities of citizens, and how they can actively participate in their communities.
Opportunities like this help bring classroom learning to life while preparing our students to be informed, engaged citizens.
