📣 Shout out Saturday| Growing Our Own Future Educators! 🍎🎓
Yesterday morning, we proudly celebrated a major milestone as Ni'shyah Duncan and Cristopher Hale signed on as the first participants in a zero-cost Paraprofessional-to-Teacher Track through a new partnership between Thomasville City Schools and Thomas University! 🙌
Through this innovative program, they’ll take up to 15 credit hours per semester while earning their teaching degrees—tuition-free. After credentialing and interviews, they'll join TCS as paraprofessionals and, upon graduation, become certified teachers with 4 years of TRS credit already earned!
This partnership is a huge step in investing in local talent and shaping the future of education right here at home.

Makayla Clark dominated by winning four events: High Jump, Triple Jump, 100m Hurdles, and 300m Hurdles—advancing in all.
Semaya Ivey placed 4th in Discus and 2nd in Shot Put—advancing in both.
Kennedy Brooks advanced in Shot Put with a 1st place finish and placed 5th in Discus.
