📚✨ Saturday Spotlight: Literacy Training Success! ✨📚 This past Saturday, Thomasville City Schools proudly hosted a paid professional literacy training, funded through a literacy grant, for our daycare workers, Pre-K, and kindergarten teachers — and it was phenomenal! 🙌 With nearly 50 passionate educators in attendance, the training focused on implementing the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum in early childhood classrooms. Participants walked away energized, empowered, and excited to bring new strategies to life for our youngest learners! 🧠💡 A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to those who made this valuable opportunity possible. 💡🏭 Big News for Bulldog Innovation! 🏭💡 Thomasville City Schools has been awarded an $87,000 grant through the Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (AIM) program to launch a cutting-edge Smart Manufacturing curriculum in partnership with Georgia Tech! 🎉 This innovative program, developed and led by Georgia Tech staff, will introduce students to AI-driven technology, automation, and advanced manufacturing, preparing them for high-demand careers in today’s rapidly evolving workforce. ⚙️🤖 A huge thank you to Steven Ferguson, Dr. Kyle Saleeby, and Dr. Sean Mulvanity of Georgia Tech for their leadership in curriculum development and instruction.
