FCCLA and Early Childhood Education III students from Thomasville High School had an incredible experience at PAGE Future Educators Day at Valdosta State University! 🙌
From an inspiring speech by The Georgia Teacher of the Year to engaging with college representatives and participating in hands-on activities, our future educators gained valuable insight into the world of teaching! 🏫❤️
Students tackled a STEAM challenge and took part in an eye-opening activity on recognizing signs of student homelessness, deepening their understanding of the challenges educators may face.
This was a powerful opportunity for our students to learn, grow, and prepare for future careers in education! 🌟

Mrs. Jones' 8th-grade Physical Science class at Scholars Academy explored the fascinating world of acids and bases using collaborative grouping! 💡✨
Students rotated through interactive stations, using pH strips to test the acidity and base levels of everyday solutions and household chemicals. 🏠⚗️ Through hands-on experiments and teamwork, they deepened their understanding of how indicators reveal chemical properties. 🧪🔍

Huge congratulations to our Scholars Academy Mathletes for securing 1st place in the Small School Division at the Rockdale Mathematics Competition! 🎇✨
Under the guidance of Coach Darrin Minns, our Mathletes traveled to Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology in Conyers, GA, to compete in this challenging event. 🧮🔢
A four-student team took on three of the four rounds: Power Round, Relay Round, and Team Round, while the Individual Round contributed to the overall team score. After an intense competition, our scholars brought home the trophy! 🏆👏
