Red Ribbon Week-Oct. 28-Nov. 1!

This week we celebrate National School Lunch Week! Our Cafeteria staff goes above and beyond to make sure our middle school students get the most nutritious and delicious meals possible, each and every day! We love our cafeteria workers!

Mrs. Jessica Dell's art classes at MPMS/Scholars Academy were treated to a visit by Master Pumpkin Artist, Mr. Jim Morey. He delighted students by demonstrating how he carves pumpkins with great detail!

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for September--Saniya Rhymes and King Sankey! We are proud to recognize them for their hard work and positive attitudes in and out of the classroom! Our Teacher of the Month is Ms. Myah Engram 7th Grade Science teacher. Ms. Engram was chosen by students, because they know that she is committed to them and their education. Ms. E ngram meets her students where they are and makes learning fun!

REMINDER ✨Today is the deadline ✨ Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) is sponsoring its annual high school student video contest for member districts across the state. Winners will be recognized at the GSBA/GSSA Annual Conference in Atlanta, and the first, second and third place winners will be awarded $1,000, $500, and $250 respectively for their school's video production program! The GSBA Awards Committee will review and judge the Student Video Awards nominees in November. The nominees will be notified of the Committee’s selections that month. Thomasville City Schools will reopen Monday, September 30th on a normal schedule. The school system extends thanks to the City of Thomasville Public Works and utilities crews who have worked tirelessly to clear out streets and restore power to make it possible for us to reopen our schools.
