Last week, our students had an incredible opportunity as GBI visited our campus for a hands-on learning experience. The GBI Bomb Truck was stationed in front of Scholar’s Academy, and several interactive stations were set up in the courtyard.
Students explored potential GBI career pathways, learned about high school Biology and Forensics connections, and dove into the science behind DNA, which directly ties into our 7th-grade standards.
Experiences like this bring learning to life and help spark our students’ future goals and interests! 🔍✨

Mrs. Jones’s Career Exploration classes hosted a Dress for Success Day, encouraging everyone to dress in attire that represents their future career goals. Students designed and hung posters around the school to promote the event — and their hard work paid off! Many students showed up dressed for their dream jobs, from doctors and teachers to business professionals and more. It was an inspiring day of career exploration and school spirit! 💼✨

Our 6th-grade students explored the vital role farming plays in Georgia’s economy and discovered a variety of exciting careers in agriculture. They took part in a scavenger hunt through Georgia’s largest corn maze, learned about the importance of corn and irrigation systems, explored what different farm animals eat, and even picked out their own pumpkin to take home! 🎃 To top it all off, they enjoyed some delicious homemade strawberry ice cream made right on the farm. 🍓🍦
