It’s almost time! Just a reminder that Thomasville City Schools will be closed November 24–28 for Thanksgiving Break.
We hope our students and staff enjoy this time to rest, recharge, and spend time with loved ones. 🧡🦃

Because Friday’s game is in Toombs County — more than three hours away — we want to ensure our students, staff, families, and fans can travel safely and show their support.

Thomasville City Schools is collecting unexpired, non-perishable food items now through November 17 to support families in need this season. ❤️💛
You can drop off donations at any TCS school or the district office, and all items will be collected on Friday, November 17.

Through the Smart Mouth Pizza program, our schools have helped donate an incredible 44,334 meals to children in need — including 18,000 from THS and 26,334 from MPMS! 💫
We’re so grateful for their dedication to feeding students and making a difference far beyond the cafeteria. Together, we’re not just serving pizza — we’re serving purpose. 🍽️💛

Mrs. Jones’s Career Exploration classes hosted a Dress for Success Day, encouraging everyone to dress in attire that represents their future career goals. Students designed and hung posters around the school to promote the event — and their hard work paid off! Many students showed up dressed for their dream jobs, from doctors and teachers to business professionals and more. It was an inspiring day of career exploration and school spirit! 💼✨

Our 6th-grade students explored the vital role farming plays in Georgia’s economy and discovered a variety of exciting careers in agriculture. They took part in a scavenger hunt through Georgia’s largest corn maze, learned about the importance of corn and irrigation systems, explored what different farm animals eat, and even picked out their own pumpkin to take home! 🎃 To top it all off, they enjoyed some delicious homemade strawberry ice cream made right on the farm. 🍓🍦
