I want want to commend the THS JROTC on their Flag Retirement Ceremony this morning. It was a well orchestrated and meaningful ceremony to honor the Red White and Blue!

It’s Wellness Wednesday and we’re introducing the superfood of the month – broccoli!
Broccoli is a branched, green vegetable with either purple or green flower buds!
It is important to include broccoli in your diet because they are rich in vitamins and minerals such as folic acid, fiber and vitamins C, E and K! Broccoli is also a source of vitamins A and C and contains phytonutrients that help to lower inflammation.
There are many ways to include broccoli into meals at home. Ask your parents to check out the Live Better website for some yummy recipes that feature broccoli! Tell them you want to make it a family activity and make the recipe together!

Some changes to Bulldog Activities this weekend. One Act will compete in Region on Friday at 9am in Sylvester. And only the Boys Basketball Team will be playing Friday and Saturday at 6pm. As well as only the Boys JV Team on Saturday at 12PM. #BulldogPride

CORRECTION! Scholars Academy offers after school math tutoring! Anyone is welcome to join on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Mr. Connell will be available in the South Building Computer Lab (behind the front office area) from 4:00-5:00. Students do not have to sign up ahead of time. Due to circumstances beyond our control, today's swim meet has been cancelled. Also only the boys basketball team will be in action this weekend. Tonight at Berrien(6PM) and at home tomorrow vs. Fitzgerald(6PM). #BulldogPride

REMINDER - Below is the link to register for the ACT test taking place in March. This form must be filled out for each student taking the test. Please remember this is only one step of a two part registration process. The registration money is due by Friday, January 15 in order for a test to be ordered for your student. The cost of the exam is $42, and the payment must be given to Amy McCorkle in the SA office or Marla Newsome at THS. Students need to register by submitting the form found on the school website, and then submitting money to the front office. Registration and payment is due by this Friday, January 15th! If you have not both paid and registered by then, a test will not be ordered for you. This test is only offered to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
