Congratulations to the THS Volleyball team for defeating Mitchell County and Cook on Thursday in Adel. The middle school team came away with a victory over Highland Christian on Monday.
The Cross Country team had a productive meet on Saturday in Albany, with both the boys and girls middle school teams coming in 4th place.
The week ahead is once again filled with opportunities to catch our fall sports teams in action. Tuesday is a big day for the volleyball program, as the middle school, junior varsity, and high school teams take on cross-town rival TCC. The middle school game will begin at 5, followed by the JV and varsity. All THS high school students will be admitted FREE for this game.
Thursday evening, the THS competition cheerleading squad will be performing their routine in a showcase at the MPMS gymnasium. Admission is $2 and the performance will begin at 6:30.
Saturday afternoon, the GMEA District 2 Marching Band Competition will be held at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Performances begin at 4 pm.
