* In the event of rain, Thomasville High School will host its graduation of Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 9:00 AM at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Arrival of Students:  8:00 AM

Number of Tickets per Graduate: Students will receive ten (10) tickets per graduate

Tickets:  Tickets will distributed on Friday, May 28, following the graduation rehearsal. 

Required Dress: Pictures will be taken throughout the ceremony. Each student will have their
picture taken. Students are to dress business casual along with their graduation regalia (cap,
gown, stoles, cords, etc.). Boys will need to wear black pants, black dress shoes and socks, and a
white button-down dress shirt. Girls will need to wear a dress skirt or pants, a blouse, and black
dress shoes or sandals, there must be a strap on the heel.

Student and Staff Parking: Students and staff will park on the home side of Veterans Memorial
Stadium, MacIntyre Park Middle School, and in the back circle of Scholars Academy. Students
are encouraged to be dropped off due to limited parking.

Family/Spectator Parking: Family members and visitors of graduates must have a ticket to be
able to attend the ceremony. Family members and guests will be able to park at the Scott
Elementary parking lot or the Thomasville High School parking lot. Due to limited handicapped
parking at the stadium, it will be first-come, first-serve. Once all handicapped spots are full,
guests who are handicapped will be allowed to be dropped off at the stadium entrance.

Student Reporting: Upon arrival, students will report to the MPMS Gym.

Seating: Both the home and visitors' stands will be open for safe distance seating. Points of entry
will open at 6:00 pm. All points of entry will be open before the ceremony. At 6:55 pm, all gates
will close.

To help maintain a safe environment, students and families are encouraged to wear a self-
provided mask or cloth covering during the graduation ceremony.

COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines will be encouraged to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and stakeholders. These guidelines are for the protection of all in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Governor's Office, and the Department of Public Health.
