Thomasville City Schools’ top spellers from three elementary schools and middle school competed in the District Spelling Bee on January 23, 2024, at the TCS Board of Education. First place winner Ethan Ellis will move to the next level by representing our school district in the Region Spelling Bee to be held on February 24, 2024, in Bainbridge, GA at Jones Wheat Primary School.
District Spelling Bee 1st Place Winner - Ethan Ellis - 8th Grade - MacIntyre Park Middle School Scholars Academy.
District Spelling Bee - 2nd Place Co-Runner Up is Jayda Smith - 8th Grade - MacIntyre Park Middle School Scholars Academy.
District Spelling Bee - 2nd Place Co-Runner Up is Emma Ellis - 4th Grade - Jerger Elementary School.
