We are excited you are considering working with Thomasville City Schools. The Thomasville City Schools System uses an on-line application system for certified, non-certified, and substitute applications. Your application will remain active for one year from the date it was received. If there is an opening for employment in your area of expertise, you will be notified concerning an interview.
In addition to your application, the following items are needed in order for your application packet to be complete:
A copy of all college transcripts
A copy of any teaching certificates
A copy of GACE assessment scores
Please secure a current email address for each of the three people you list as a reference in your on-line application. A reference check will be generated from the application and insufficient references may delay employment.
Please follow the steps below to successfully complete your application on-line:
1. Log onto the System Website: tcitys.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx
2. Click on "Create New Account"
Create a user name and password to login. Make note of your user name and password. You will need this information if you wish to log into your application at a later date.
Select your Application: Be sure to select the correct application based on the positions listed. After selecting the application, you must select at least one position category in which you are interested and qualified.
Certified - Teachers, principals, counselors, and other positions requiring certification by the Georgia Professional Standard Commission (GaPSC).
Non-Certified - Food Service, clerical/office, maintenance, bus drivers, and similar positions NOT requiring certification by the Georgia Professional Standard Commission (GaPSC).
