-High School Yearbooks are currently on sale for the discounted price of $55 until October 22nd. If you need an order sheet, please see Mrs. Strausser in her classroom or Mrs. Felts in the front office. Orders can also be placed online.
-THS HOSA Chapter will be having a meeting today at 3:15 in the afternoon. Students interested in joining HOSA and attending the Fall Rally in Perry, Ga on October 15 should attend. Contact Mrs. Peralta at THS if you have any questions.
-The swim team will hold an interest meeting tomorrow at 3:30 in the high school cafeteria. This will be for all middle school and high school students interested in joining the swim team this year.
-Middle School Girl’s Basketball Tryouts will be Monday, September 27-Wednesday, September 29 from 5:00-6:30 in the MPMS Gymnasium. A current sports physical must be on file to tryout, gym clothes and personal water bottle are mandatory, no clothes will be given out during tryouts. Contact Coach Spivey in Room 146 at MPMS for more information. You may also email him or Coach Lee.
-Middle School Boy’s Basketball Tryouts will be Tuesday, October 5- Thursday, October 7th from 5:00-6:45 in the MPMS Gymnasium. You must have a current sports physical on file to participate in tryouts. Players must be on time, in the right clothing and shoes, and have a water bottle. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Moore in Room 208 at MPMS or email him.
-There will be a 7th grade Science Academy meeting today after school in the Bulldog Cafe. This meeting is for 7th grade only and will last about 45 minutes. All forms and remainders of payments will be due. If you cannot attend please stop by Ms Rinehart's room for the information.
-Faculty, Staff, and Students, the THS Competition Cheerleading team would like to invite you to come watch them perform their routine at the 2021 Bulldog Showcase this Thursday September 23, at 6:30 PM in the MacIntyre Park Gymnasium. The Competition Cheerleaders will have their first competition in Troup County on September 25! Please come out and show your support. Admission is $2! -Today, the softball team will play at 4:30 versus Worth County, the MS volleyball team will play Thomas County Middle School at home at 5:00, the JV volleyball team will play versus Thomas County Central at 6:00 and 7:00, and the 7th grade football team will play in Cairo at 5:00. THS students will be allowed free entry into the volleyball games tomorrow.
High school students will be allowed free entry into the volleyball games with a ticket that can be picked up from the front office. We will also be passing out the free tickets during lunch in the Bulldog Cafe.
