-Next week will be a CBABA week. Monday will be a “C” Day and the rest will follow as B, A, B, A days.
-Students, if you have missed any part of the Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessments, make-ups will start this Friday, May 21st at 12:00 PM. To be eligible for makeup, you must come to the front office to sign up.
-Archbold is now offering the Covid Vaccine to anyone ages 12 and older. Nurses will be on site this Friday, May 21st to administer the vaccine. You must have parental consent to get the vaccine. Please pick up a form in the front office or at the school nurse and return it by today at 3pm.
-If you have a Chromebook checked out, please remember to turn it and the charger into the MPMS Media Center ASAP. You will owe money to the school if either are not turned in by the end of the year.
-SENIOR DUES AND OBLIGATIONS are due ASAP! Scholars Academy has a $20 graduation fee & a $35 diploma fee, along with any obligation charges on your student account. Payments can be made to Mrs. McCorkle in the front office or Mrs. Newsome at THS. All monies are due before you are allowed to walk at graduation.
-A local movie production is looking for movie extras on the last weekend of the month. Actors must be over the age of sixteen and have parental consent to film. The movie scenes will be filmed here on the Scholars Academy campus. If you are interested in participating, please come to the front office for more information.
-The Varsity Football Cheerleaders are hosting their annual carwashing fundraiser this Saturday morning from 8am-12pm. Find a cheerleader to purchase a $5 ticket or show up the day of to get your car washed.
-THS Competition Cheerleading Team is selling raffle tickets to win a set of cornhole boards. If you would like to purchase tickets, please find a cheerleader or email Ms. Jamie Richardson at THS and she will send one to you.
-Middle School softball will be holding tryouts from 3:30-5:00 again today at the THS softball field.
-Varsity softball tryouts will be next week on May 24-27 from 4:00-6:00 at the THS softball fields. Girls must be rising 8th graders-12th grade to try out. You must have a completed and updated physical on file with the school.
-Tomorrow night is the THS football spring game. Tickets are $5 at the gate and kick-off is 7:30. Come out and support the Bulldogs!
