-New Beta Club Inductees please check your email for information on Monday’s Induction Ceremony.
-A local movie production is looking for movie extras the last weekend of the month. Actors must be over the age of sixteen and have parental consent to film. The movie scenes will be filmed here on the Scholars Academy campus. If you are interested in participating, please come to the front office for more information.
-Our lost and found pile has things like lunchboxes, water bottles, and jackets in it. If you have lost something this year, please come look at our box in the front office. Items that are not claimed by the end of the year will be donated to charity.
-There will be a middle school and high school cross country meeting next Monday, May 17th after school in the Bulldog Cafe.
-Middle School softball will be holding tryouts from 3:30-5:00 on next Wednesday and Thursday at the THS softball field. You must have a completed and up-to-date physical in order to participate.
-Varsity softball tryouts will be May 24-27 from 4:00-6:00 at the THS softball fields. Girls must be rising 8th graders-12th grade to try out. Must have a completed and updated physical on file with the nurse.
-Middle school cheerleading tryouts continue today after school in the MPMS gymnasium from 4:00-5:30. You must have a current physical on file to participate.
-SENIOR DUES AND OBLIGATIONS are due ASAP! Scholars Academy has a $20 graduation fee & a $35 diploma fee, along with any obligation charges on your student account. All money is due before Friday, March 21st. Mrs. McCorkle has sent out a reminder email to all seniors and their parents. Payments can be made to Mrs. McCorkle in the front office or Mrs. Newsome at THS.
-Congratulations to THS Baseball team for their outstanding win last night. The final score was 6-0. They will move on to the Final Four playoffs!
