-Mrs. Knop's Peer Leadership class will begin a fundraiser that will assist abused children of Thomasville through the Never Lost Foundation. April is child abuse prevention month. The class will be selling pinwheels during lunches for $1. The 2nd-period class that sells the most gets a prize. They will begin selling pinwheels on March 29 and will sell them throughout April. Let's help PREVENT child abuse.
-High school & middle school yearbooks are currently on sale. The last day to order a yearbook will be April 2nd. Please go to the SA school website to find the order link.
-Mr. Smith at the SA will have an all subjects tutoring after school every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30, and math tutoring is every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:00 in the computer lab behind the front office. That means today after school there will be tutoring beginning at 3:30. You do not have to sign up to come to tutoring.
-Girls Who Code is a club meant for girls to join a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, and use Computer Science to change the world. When you join the club, you will be able to learn from fun and simple online coding tutorials, build community through interactive activities and learn about inspiring role models. You then work in teams to design and build a Girls Who Code Project that solves real-world problems you care about through code. The dates to join the hybrid class is March 24 to May 19th. -There will be a dance line interest meeting next Wednesday, March 31 at 3:15 in Mrs. Bundrick’s dance room.
-A Majorette Interest meeting will be held in Mrs. Strausser’s classroom (SA campus Room 113 N) on Wednesday, March 31st at 3:15. This meeting is mandatory if you plan to audition.
-Today, the golf team will play at Country Oaks at 4:00, the MS track team will compete in Fitzgerald at 4:00, and the MS tennis match for today has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, March 31st.
-Tomorrow, on Friday, the THS baseball team will play Berrien County at 4:30 & 7:00 at home and the THS soccer teams will play in Nashville GA at 5:30 & 7:30.
