-There will be a High School Volleyball interest meeting for rising 8th through 12th-grade girls interested in trying out for Volleyball on Thursday, March 18th at 3:15 pm in the Scholars Academy Multipurpose Room.
-There will be a Volleyball Interest Meeting for 5th-7th grade girls interested in trying out for MacIntyre Park Middle School Volleyball this Thursday, March 18th at 6pm in the Scholars Academy Multipurpose Room.
-High school & middle school yearbooks are currently on sale. The last day to order a yearbook will be April 2nd. Please go to the SA school website to find the order link.
-Remember that after-school tutoring is offered at both Scholars Academy and THS. Mr. Smith at the SA will have English tutoring after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30, and math tutoring is on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:00. You do not have to sign up ahead of time to come to tutoring.
-High school student-athletes that qualify for a varsity letterman jacket this year, the NEFF representative will be at the THS cafeteria this Thursday, March 18th during lunch hours to start taking sizes.
-High school football team members, every Monday and Wednesday now until Spring Break, there will be an ACT prep course in the upstairs computer lab after school. Please contact Coach Jones if you have any questions.
-Tonight, the MPMS & THS bands will be performing for friends and family here in the auditorium at 7:00. If you’re able to, please come support our students and the hard work they have put in this year.
-Attention high school band students: if your instrument is in the high school band room, you have until 3:30 this afternoon to get it for our concert tonight. This is your absolute last opportunity.
-Congratulations to the THS Iron Dogs on dominating the competition Friday at the Tulsa Welding School Skills Challenge in Moultrie. Out of 100 welders, our Iron Dogs had 6 in the top 10. Josh Streets won 1st place, Christopher O'Neal 2nd, Oliver Aguilera 3rd, Marcus Cordista 5th, Seth Welch 7th, and Kellar Turner 8th. Again, congratulations to our welding team for a job well done.
-Today the JV soccer team will play Cairo at home at 5:00, the MS red baseball team will play in Sylvestor at 4:30, the MS soccer teams will play in Fitzgerald at 4:30 & 6:00, and the JV baseball team will play a doubleheader against Colquitt County at home at 4:30 & 6:00
-Tomorrow, the baseball team will play Early County at home at 5:30, the THS girls soccer team will play at home against Early County at 5:30 & 7:30, the MS gold baseball team will play Washington Middle School at the Remington Fields at 4:30, and the MS track team will compete at Thomas County Central at 4:00.
