Assistant Principal

     Bill Settle, Vocational Supervisor and Assistant Principal, earned his Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction and his Master's degree in Administration from Nova Southeastern University.  He completed his Bachelor's degree in Education from East Tennessee State University in 1989 after completing a four-year enlistment in the U.S. Army.

     A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Mr. Settle began his teaching career in Peach County, Georgia, where he taught and coached for 4 1/2 years.  He coached one year at Thomasville High in 1994 before leaving to teach and coach in Cook County.  In 2001, Mr. Settle left Cook County to pursue administrative opportunities in Mitchell County.  While at Mitchell County, he served as Assistant Principal at Mitchell-Baker High School and as Principal at Mitchell County Middle School.

     Mr. Settle is married to Sally Settle and has two daughters, Callie and Carlie.
