James Packer

  • AFROTC Aerospace Science Instructor.
  • Entered the United States Air Force on August 16, 1971 and retired on September 1, 1997.
  • Graduate of Fairhope High School in Fairhope, Alabama.
  • Graduate of the Community College of the Air Force with an A.A. degree in Air Operations.
  • Graduate of St. Leo College with an A.A. degree in Business Administration.
  • Currently enrolled at Valdosta State University pursuing a B.S. degree in Technical, Trade, and Industrial Education.
  • Air Force career:  Attended both the Non-commissioned and Senior Non-commissioned Officer's academics.  Flew as a crewmember on the C-130 transport aircraft and accumulated over 5,500 flying hours.  Participated in Operation Just Cause, Operation Desert Shield, and Operation Desert Storm.  Retired as a Quality Management and Unit Assessment Inspector, Air Force Inspector's general team Sumter, South Carolina.
