Making/Sending to Folders

Making Folder on Desktop:
-- Right click anywhere on desktop
-- Click New 
-- Folder 
-- Type a name for the folder


Making Folder in C: drive or A: drive:
-- Double-click on My Computer on desktop
-- Double-click the drive where you want a folder
     (A: drive is the floppy disk, C: drive is for saving up in   
      the computer)
-- Right click anywhere in the white space of the window
-- Click New -- Folder -- Type a name for the folder


Saving to Folders:
-- After creating/opening a document, click File
-- Save As
-- Use the drop-down Save In menu to choose the   
     drive (C or A) where your folder is   
-- Double-click on your folder, so that it appears in the
     Save In window
-- Type in a name in the File Name box at the bottom
-- Click Save


Moving Folders & Files From a Disk to Your Computer or Vice Versa

Dragging & Dropping Files & Folders

-- Right-click on My Computer icon on desktop
-- Click Explore
-- Double-click on drive where the folder or document you want to open is saved, so your folder/file appears in right-hand screen
-- Click & drag folder/file from right-hand screen to on top of folder or drive on left-hand screen.  Let go when you see that the destination folder is highlighted.
-- Allow time for the file to copy.
