- Coordinates activities for the Prom Promise Program.
- Attended St. Francis College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
- Continued studies at Brevard Junior College in Cocoa, Florida.
- Transferred to Florida State University and received a B.A. in French and Foreign Language
Education in 1968; a Masters in French in 1970, and a Ph.D. in French in 1980.
- In 1967, attended a summer study program at the Sorbonne in Paris, France and in 1987
participated in the Summer Spanish Institute at Valdosta State University.
- Has taught at Thomasville High School since 1975.
- A member of the following organizations: NEA, Georgia
Association of Educators, Thomasville Association of
Educators, American Association of Teachers of French, the
Foreign Language Association of Georgia, and Mothers Against
Drunk Driving.
