Hunting for Twerps
Lacey Milam

Today, Thursday January 21, Young Life Thomas County is hosting its 2nd annual Twerp Hunt.  Groups of high school students will be gathering at the entrance of the Governor Square mall between Macy’s and Sears at 7 pm sharp.  They will be taking part in a crazy scavenger hunt that will usher them throughout the whole mall.  Rides to Tallahassee are being offered to students that show up at the Young Life building (450 West Jackson Street) before 6 pm.  Students are estimated to be home by 9:30 pm.

Twerp Hunt is much like a scavenger hunt, but with many fun and exciting twists.  Teams are given a list of clues that, when figured out, will guide them to certain stores in the mall.  Once these stores are found, team members must then ask the “Twerp” (aka: fake shopper) hidden within the store the required question, receive the required answer, and get a signature from that person.  How, you may ask, are we supposed to know who the Twerp is?  You won’t.  The only way to be certain that the Twerp is found is to ask every person in the store a ridiculously random question until the correct person is found.

If you find yourself eager to solve some clues, excited by the thought of approaching complete strangers to ask them questions, or just completely bored, come join us for the most insane scavenger hunt ever.  Be the team who finds the most Twerps in one hour and receive an awesome prize!
