Just in case you missed the 2nd Annual Lean Mean Bulldog Cuisine, here are the recipes to the dishes that Chef Rosecleer Marie served!
Jay Rome, former TE for the GA Bulldogs and UGA graduate stopped by to motivate, encourage and read to Mrs. Boykins-Rome's English Honors Class at the Thomasville Scholars Academy.
He discussed the importance of having short and long term goals. Short term goals such as being successful on the GA Milestones test and long terms goals such as obtaining a college degree and having a career were emphasized. Jay read a short book, "The Magician's Hat," a short story written by Malcolm Mitchell, former WR for the GA Bulldogs and UGA graduate. Students were extremely engaged and actually analyzed the book with Jay discussing the theme and elements of literature related to this short story.
After the motivational speech, students were able to ask questions, take pictures, selfies and get autographs.
Jay and Malcolm are currently in training for the NFL draft and are at home for Easter break before returning to NFL training camps.

The Thomasville High School Lady Bulldog basketball team ended its season with a first round loss in the State AA Playoffs. In the locker room after the game, many of the student-athletes wore expressions of frustration and disappointment but no one in the room felt their season had ended in vain. The Lady Bulldogs played for a purpose that could not be measured on any stat line. They played each game this season to honor the memory of Danielle Gatlin, the mother of Thomasville High School student and Lady Bulldog Sherriona Jackson.
