The MacIntyre Park Middle School basketball team consists of players from the
sixth through eight grade. Prospective players must first pass a physical given
by a local physician. MacIntyre Park has a seventh grade team and an eighth
grade team.
Tryout Guidelines
-
Pass a physical given by a local physician.

Maintain good academic standings. Students are not
allowed to make a grade lower than 70%. A grade of "F" is never
allowed.

Students must maintain a a good discipline record. No
OSS or Iss on the student's record.

Students are selected based on their ability to perform
various basketball drills and fundamentals. Also attitude and work ethics
are a determining factor. For example : perform left and right hand
lay-ups, good time in mile run. The coach has the right to amend the rules
and regulations set forth.
