JERGER JETS LEGO TEAM ADVANCES TO STATE COMPETITION AT GEORGIA TECH

January 23, 2010

                    Congratulations!

The elementary team participated in the FIRST Lego League Super Regional Competition in Warner Robins this past Saturday (1/8/10) with 26 other Georgia teams.

The team was awarded the Congressional Recognition award for their Research Project and the potential to positively impact their community. The award was from Congressional member Jim Marshall, who is the Representative from the 8th District.

In addition, the team of four won the 2nd place Champion’s Award which is a combination of Robot Performance, Research Presentation, Technical Presentation, Teamwork and FIRST LEGO League Values.

The Champion's Award is the most prestigious award that a team can win. It celebrates the ultimate success of the FIRST mission and FLL Core Values. A champion is someone who passionately supports a cause. For FLL, our champions passionately inspire and motivate others about the excitement of science and technology, solving problems, working as a team, and demonstrating respect and Gracious Professionalism.
