Jocelyn Thompson graduated from Valdosta State University in 1987 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Thompson also completed a Master's Degree in 2002 from Albany State University in Educational Leadership. She has worked in the Thomasville City School System since 1987 as a classroom teacher and a resource coordinator before becoming principal of Balfour School in 2003. She is married with two children.
